Arriving at Noi Bai airport, after clearing immigration and customs, you will be met and privately transferred to the hotel. Check in and relax after a long flight. Stay overnight at the hotel in Ha Noi.
In the early morning, meet your guide and start full day city tour exploring Hanoi. Start with the Mausoleum of the nation’s founder Ho Chi Minh and the Presidential Palace, followed by the serene One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature known as the site of Vietnam's first university. Next, visit the National Museum of Vietnamese History - it has a total area of more than 2,200m2, displaying nearly 7,000 documents and objects. It also has over 100,000 specimens of precious objects from the cultures of Nui Don, Hoa Binh-Bac Son, and Dong Son. In the afternoon, walking around the Ha Noi Old Quarter, ending at the historic Hoan Kiem Lake, visit Ngoc Son, enjoy the Water Puppet Show. In the evening, car transfer to the train station to catch your night train to Laocai. Overnight on the train (4-Berth Cabin).
The train arrives at the Laocai railway station in the early morning. Your guide and driver will meet you there and take you on the 40km drive to Sapa – Northwest Vietnam’s premier travel destination. Enjoy breakfast at the hotel then catch a few hours of rest before beginning your adventure in this beautiful mountain landscape and home to many minority hill tribe peoples. In the late morning, your guide will take you on a two hour trek through the terraced rice fields to visit the villages Cat Cat and Sin Chai, where you will learn about local traditions and daily life. Morning, trek up Ham Rong (Dragon’s Jaw) Mountain. There are several well tended flower gardens along the way. Going through two Heaven Gates, you will get the top of Ham Rong Mountain. Up here, you will have a sensational spectacular views of the Hoang Lien Son Mountains, including Vietnam’s highest peak - Fansipan. Drive to Ninh Binh, we will take 02 hours to get to Ninh Binh. Arrive in Ninh Binh, visit Hoa Lu - is the site of a 10th-century capital of an ancient Vietnamese Kingdom called Dai Co Viet. Back Tam Coc for hotel check in. In the afternoon, we have a boat trip in Van Long Natural Reserve. Breakfast at the hotel and then start driving to Ha Long City. Arrive in Halong City about 11h00AM. We then transfer to a refurbished wooden sailing junk for a cruise through the limestone cliffs and emerald waters of Ha Long Bay to enjoy a fantastic view of the picturesque scenery blending with the sky and some 3,000 limestone this World Heritage Site. While being on board, we will be served a sumptuous fresh, local seafood lunch followed by swimming and exploring some of the limestone caves in this area. Try the feeling of witnessing the sunset on boat is really great. Have a dinner on board. The captain then will anchor for the night nearby a remote island. Waking up surrounded by the tranquil beauty of the bay, we have time for an early morning dip with joys and emotions for watching sunrise on sea followed by breakfast. The cruise continues to move around the bay for us to discover more secluded areas; we then take kayaking and swimming in the stunning bay. The junk will be near us at all times serving as a backup vessel for those that require it. At around midday we will return to the main harbor before transferring to our awaiting vehicle for a 4-hour journey toward Noi Bai airport for flight to Hue City. Today we will do full-day city tour. Starting by boat trip on Perfume River to visit the picturesque Thien Mu Pagoda, then visit Minh Mang King Tomb. Stop at Lang Co beach for coffee and refreshments before winding our way up the spectacular Hai Van Pass to admire the stunning views north to Lang Co beach and south to Da Nang City. This morning explore the amazing network of the Cu Chi Tunnels, which housed entire underground guerrilla villages during the American War in Vietnam. In order to combat better-supplied American and South Vietnamese forces during the Vietnam War, Communist guerrilla troops known as Viet Cong (VC) dug tens of thousands of miles of tunnels, including an extensive network running underneath the Cu Chi district northwest of Saigon. Soldiers used these underground routes to house troops, transport communications and supplies, lay booby traps and mount surprise attacks, after which they could disappear underground to safety. To combat these guerrilla tactics, U.S. and South Vietnamese forces trained soldiers known as “tunnel rats” to navigate the tunnels in order to detect booby traps and enemy troop presence. Now part of a Vietnam War memorial park in Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon), the Cu Chi tunnels have become a popular tourist attraction. In the afternoon, you will travel to Tay Ninh to experience the midday service at the colorful head temple of the unique Cao Dai religion. Drive back to Ho Chi Minh City. After breafast, transfer to Cai Be. Upon arriving, before going to the cruise ship terminal in Cai Be, the car stops at Cai Be Cao Dai Oratories, which is the religious symbol of local uniqueness. Then the visitors are picked up by the tourist boats to visit the floating market of rice in An Cu commune, Cai Be district – where is the rice trade largest exporter Southwest region of Vietnam, tourists will chat to learn more about daily life of the local people. The next destinations are the ancient village of Dong Hoa Hiep commune and Cai Be floating market. Leaving the floating market, tourist boats take visitors to Tan Phong islet and go to the Chin’s house by a rowing boat in the small canal. Here, guests and homeowners drink tea together, chat and learn more about the daily life of the people Tan Phong islet and how to make lotus tea, lotus jam. Then, guests will enjoy a lotus tea, lotus jam while hearing some Vietnamese traditional tune performed by Mr. Chin. Goodbye Mr. Chin, tourists continue visiting the orchard of Ms. Hang, enjoying the fruits in the garden picked by guests. Then, the passengers continue going to Ms. 6’s house to see the method to knit the banana hammock from the rope of dry banana leaves. The next destination is Ms Yen’s house - the place where the travelers can learn the way to make jack-fruit leaf cake - a cake is said to be special cake of Tan Phong island - guests and homeowners will work together and enjoy cake. After that, the tourists will visit Ms Muoi- a very old woman- to see the method to make the leaves that can be the roof of Vietnamese house. In early morning, take boat trip to visit Cai Rang Market. It is said that “not being in Cai Rang floating market means not knowing the land of Tay Do – an old name of Can Tho”. Cai Rang floating market, one of the famous floating markets of the Southwest, specializes in selling fruits and agricultural products of the whole region.There are hundred boats gather together where their owners start to sell agri - products. To be recognized easily, they hang out product samples on a long bamboo (called Cay Beo) in front of the boats, so that they do not need to cry their wares as in mainland market.
