Vietnam and Cambodia Tour in 20 days

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN HA NOI

Arriving at Noi Bai airport, after clearing immigration and customs, you will be met and privately transferred to the hotel. Check in and relax after a long flight. Stay overnight at the hotel in Ha Noi.

DAY 2: HANOI CITY TOUR (B)

After having breakfast, meet your guide and start for full day city tour exploring Hanoi. Start with the mausoleum of the nation’s founder Ho Chi Minh and the Presidential Palace, followed by the serene One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature known as the site of Vietnam’s first university. Next, visit the Hoa Lo Prison Museum. In the afternoon, cyclo tour around the Ha Noi Old Quarter, ending at the historic Hoan Kiem Lake, visit Ngoc Son, enjoy the Water Puppet Show. Stay overnight at hotel in Ha Noi.

DAY 3: HA NOI – NINH BINH (B)

Morning, guide pick up and transfer by vehicle from Ha Noi to Ninh Binh. Visit Hoa Lu, boat trip Tam Coc. Stay overnight at hotel in Tam Coc, Ninh Binh.

DAY 4: NINH BINH – HALONG BAY (B, L, D)

Breakfast at the hotel and then start a 3-hour driving to Ha Long City. Comfort stop en route for photos and coffee before arriving to Ha Long City. We then transfer to a refurbished wooden sailing junk for a cruise through the limestone cliffs and emerald waters of Ha Long Bay to enjoy a fantastic view of the picturesque scenery blending with the sky and some 3,000 limestone this World Heritage Site.

While being on board, we will be served a sumptuous fresh, local seafood lunch followed by swimming and exploring some of the limestone caves in this area. Try the feeling of witnessing the sunset on boat is really great. Have a dinner on board. The captain then will anchor for the night nearby a remote island.  In the evening, there is the option for night fishing or just sit out on the deck and relax under the stars. Stay overnight on Junk.

DAY 5: HALONG – HANOI – TRAIN TO SAPA (B, L)

Waking up surrounded by the tranquil beauty of the bay, we have time for an early morning dip with joys and emotions for watching sunrise on sea followed by breakfast. The cruise continues to move around the bay for us to discover more secluded areas; we then take kayaking and swimming in the stunning bay. The junk will be near us at all times serving as a backup vessel for those that require it. At around midday we will return to the main harbor before returning to Hanoi. Later this evening you will be transferred to Hanoi railway station where you will board your overnight soft sleeper train to Sapa.

DAY 6: SAPA SIGHTSEEING (B)

In the early morning private car pick you up at Lao Cai station, transfer to Sapa Town (about 1 hour). Check in the hotel and relax. In the afternoon, have a light trekking to Lao Chai and Ta Van village. Stay overnight at hotel in Sapa.

DAY 7: SAPA – TRAIN BACK TO HANOI (B)

In the morning, visit Cat Cat village and climb to Ham Rong Mountain – panorama views, visit orchid garden. 16h00 there will be a transfer to Lao Cai station for back to Hanoi departure at 21h05. Stay overnight on the train.

DAY 8: HANOI – FLIGHT TO HUE (B)

Arrive in Ha Noi at early morning; car and guide pick you up at the railway station. Have a breakfast. Then transfer to the Noi Bai airport for flight to Hue city. Arrive in Hue city, private car pick you up and transfer to the hotel. Free at leisure for rest of the day. Stay overnight at the hotel in Hue city.

DAY 9: HUE CITY TOUR (B, L)

Today you have a full day for Hue city tour: boat trip on Perfume River to visit the picturesque Thien Mu Pagoda, Tu Duc King Tomb, Minh Mang King Tomb. Transfer back to Hue center for lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, take a visit to the Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City. After that, walking around and shopping in Dong Ba Market. Overnight at the hotel in Hue.

DAY 10: HUE – DA NANG – HOI AN (B)

After having breakfast, drive to Hoi An ancient town. The scenery on the way is very beautiful, do not forget bring your camera, taking a lot of pictures. Stop at Lang Co beach for coffee and refreshments before winding our way up the spectacular Hai Van Pass to admire the stunning views north to Lang Co beach and south to Da Nang City. Continue on our way down to the other side and head to Da Nang where we will stop at the Cham Museum, the famed Vietnam Beach, and the Marble Mountains. Check in and overnight at the hotel in Hoi An.

DAY 11: HOI AN (B)

Free to explore Hoi An ancient town. Stay overnight in Hoi An.

DAY 12: HOI AN – MY SON – TRA QUE VILLAGE (B, L)

Morning, guide and car pick you up to 4th century Cham religious sanctuary of My Son, located in a beautiful green valley surrounded by impressive mountains. Return to Hoi An for lunch. In the afternoon, visit Tra Que Vegetable Village. Your cycling trip takes you on narrow roads to visit a place is famous for many kinds of vegetables in a long time: lettuce, salad, houttuynia, flagrant knoutwed, basil and coriander vegetables etc.. The village is named after the sweet scented vegetables that spice up the everyday meals of the Hoi An people. Then, ride a bicycle on the path of De Vong River , along the both sides of rice field, water coconut area, lakes of shrimp…. Have a chance to take photos on the ways and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the country side there. Back to hotel in late afternoon. Overnight in Hoi An.

DAY 13: HOI AN – DA NANG – FLIGHT TO SAI GON (B)

Transfer to Da Nang airport for morning flight to Saigon – the country’s premier Resort town. Arrive in Saigon, car and guide pick up for half day city tour visit: Reunification Palace, War Remnant Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Post office, Dong Khoi Street, Ben Thanh market, Thien Hau Pagoda, China Town. Free at the rest of day. Stay overnight in Saigon.

DAY 14:  SAI GON – CAI BE – AN BINH (B, L, D)

In the morning, car and guide transfer from Saigon to Cai Be. Stop at My Tho to visit Vinh Trang Pagoda. Continue to drive to Cai Be, arrive in Cai Be, the ferry pick you up and transfer to An Binh Island. Arrive in An Binh Island, cycling along the paths under the foliages  and crowded village to know the local daily life, stop to visit Mr Cai Cuong’s ancient house – landlord’s one in the past, farming tool display, rice planting line. Cycling to the Bonsai garden for visiting and having lunch. Cycling to the homestay. Preparing and enjoying the dinner with the family and overnight at the home stay in An Binh Island.

DAY 15: VINH LONG – TAM BINH – TRA ON – BINH MINH (B, L)

The tourist will be supplied the standard bicycles, and cycling throughout town street to know the local daily life. Cycling along paths under the foliages to Long Phuoc village (Long Ho – Vinh Long). On the way stop to visit: Literature temple, local cottage industries, Mr Tam Phan’s ancient house – the oldest one in Vinh Long province. Arrive in Long Hiep junction, cycling from Cai Ngang to Tam Binh, knowing about the rural daily life of the local people, agricultural activities, an orange orchard, Tam Binh market. Having lunch. Cycling from Cai Ngang paths to Tra On. Cycling along the village to Binh Minh, on the way visiting: Phuoc Hau pagoda, pomelo garden, Kh’mer village, incense making village. Car pick up at Binh Minh pier (Can Tho), then transfer to Chau Doc. Check in and overnight at hotel in Chau Doc.

DAY 16: CHAU DOC – PHNOM PENH (B)   – MTCAM4

Morning, transfer to harbor for speedboat from Chau Doc to Phnom Penh (about 4hours). Upon arrival, meet your guide, transfer to the hotel in Phnom Penh. In the afternoon visit to Toul Sleng Museum, Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda and National Museum. Stay overnight at hotel in Phnom Penh.

DAY 17: PHNOM PENH (B)

Free at leisure. Stay overnight at hotel in Phnom Penh.

DAY 18: PHNOM PENH – BOAT TO SIEM REAP (B)

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to boat pier for departure to Siem Reap by speed boat. The boat will go through Chong Kneas floating village before arriving at boat pier, meets local guide and transfer to Siem Reap, check in the hotel.

Note: in the period of March – September of the year, the boat will not operate and we will use private car instead.

In the afternoon, visit to Roluos group where earliest temple of Angkor period are (Lolei, Preah Kor, & Bakhong). Stay overnight at hotel in Siem Reap.

DAY 19: SIEM REAP – ANGKOR TEMPLES (B)

Breakfast at hotel, visit to Ta Prohm in early morning to avoid of crowded and next to Angkor Wat Temple. In the afternoon, visit to South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple, Terraces of Elephant and Lepper King. Sunset at less tourist temple at choose of your tour guide. Stay overnight at hotel in Siem Reap.

DAY 20: SIEM REAP – BANTEAY SREI – DEPARTURE (B)

Breakfast at hotel, visit to the most beautiful temple of Banteay Srei and Remote temple of Banteay Samre. Return to Siem Reap before lunch time and check out from hotel at 12:00. In the afternoon, visit to Artisans D’angkor, Old Market and transfer to airport for departure. End of our services.
